You have probably heard about our new maths display that we are creating in school to showcase all of the wonderful maths skills our children have. There are so many times that we use a maths skill without even realising it. This could be handling money in a shop, reading the timetable for a bus or using a watch or a clock to tell the time.
All of these instances demonstrate a huge variety of mathematical knowledge and show the children how they are using maths all of the time. The children are really excited about this.
Here are a few examples of some of our children applying a maths skill at home.
