Local Offer / SEND Information Report

Arrangements for handling complaints from parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) – Please arrange a meeting with the SEND coordinator (Mrs K Bedford) and the Headteacher in the first instance. If you are unhappy with the outcome of this meeting, please follow our school complaints procedure (see below).

Calderdale SEND Local Offer

 The SEND Local Offer has information about what Calderdale expects to be available across education, health and social care for children and young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Calderdale has been developing the updated SEND Local Offer website for a while now and it’s time to make sure people know it’s out there and shared.

The SEND Local offer is never done, it is always in progress.

Calderdale  will be developing materials in the coming months to support families and professionals to access the SEND Local Offer in ways other than just the website. 

Newsletter

There will be a SEND Local Offer newsletter every half term.

 There will also be a school holiday newsletter which will have details of holiday activities for families to access.
