Year 5 took part in a Well-being warriors workshop that was delivered by Lucy from Life Coram Education (SCARF). The children learnt about keeping safe online, influencers and healthy online behaviours.
Safety superheroes
Year 4 and 5 participated in The Safety Superhero Academy workshop this afternoon. The workshop helps children learn about essential safety concepts while introducing them to exciting STEM role models. The fun, hands-on workshops are designed to inspire curiosity, spark creativity, and empower children to become safety champions.
Hands On Cooking!
Today, Year 5 have been hands-on as they created two delightful dishes: a corned beef stew and a vegetable stew.
The children worked together to prep all the ingredients, demonstrating great care and safety with their knives. They were all keen to give the stew a try, and several even went back for seconds (and thirds!). A sure sign of a successful cooking session!
