What we’ve been doing…
Exploring Pastels
We have been developing our sketching skills and use of pastels. We used both to create our 'Still Life.'
Artist France Belleville-Van Stone believes you do not need fancy subjects to make great art. She draws everyday items right in front of her. Her motto is sketch as you go, using daily life to build drawing confidence without worrying about mistakes.
Bright Lights
In our Year 6 Science lesson the children investigated circuits. They had to work out how to light a bulb with no given instructions.
Blue group were the first to work it out and were rather pleased with themselves!
